6 Must-See US Destinations for Nature Lovers

You don’t need a passport to see the best of what Mother Nature offers.  America, the third biggest country in the world offers a plethora of awe-inspiring natural wonders that are waiting to be explored and experienced by outdoor enthusiasts and adventure seekers like you.

From tropical rain forests to sea life, canyons to majestic mountains, I’ve rounded up my top 6 picks of US destinations that all nature lovers should visit at least once in their lifetime.

1. Antelope Canyon, Arizona

This slot canyon in the American Southwest was formed by the erosion of Navajo Sandtone.  The unique ‘flowing’-shaped rock formation and natural canvas of colors make it a popular location for photographers and sightseers alike.

2. Oneonta Gorge, Oregon

Tucked away within the Columbia River Gorge, is a hidden treasure that will make you feel like you’re in Peter Pan’s Neverland.  It’s described as “one of the true dramatic chasms in the state” and is a home to all sorts of botanical wonders and four major waterfalls.
