Non-Surgical Anti-Aging Procedures You Should Know

Dark under eye circles, wrinkles, fine lines and sagging skin… just a few inevitable changes that happen through age.  Nowadays, most women are so obsessed in maintaining their youth to the point that they are willing to go through plastic surgery.  But there are other ways to look younger than your real age without going through invasive procedures, which I will talk about in this blog post.

Microdermabrasion

Microdermabrasion is a minimal skin care technique that involves buffing away the surface of your skin which removes flaky skin, bumps, sun damage spots and overall smooths out the skin.

Chemical Peel

This non-surgical treatment involves the application of an acid-based solution to your face, neck or hands that causes the dead skin to slough off and peel off afterwards, leaving the skin smooth and supple.

Botox

Although Botox involves injections, it is still a painless treatment.  The procedure involves injecting botulinum toxin into the facial muscles that will block contractions under the skin, reducing lines and wrinkles for up to four months.

Fillers

As we age, natural collagen production decreases which will result to a lost volume in the face.  Thanks to derma fillers, you can now maintain a plump and firm skin by injecting these fillers to restore those plumping and sagging skin.  It can also be used to plump thin lips and reduce the appearance of scars.

Sclerotherapy

This is a medical procedure to treat varicose or spider veins.  This involves injecting saline solution directly into the vein, forcing the blood to reroute to other healthier veins.  The collapsed vein will then eventually fade.

Thermage

Thermage is a treatment that involves radio frequency to tighten skin and lift problem areas.  It is clinically proven to treat fine lines, wrinkles and even cellulites.

CO2 Laser

This skin resurfacing procedure eliminates lines/wrinkles and removes outer layers of damaged skin to reveal a softer, smoother and younger looking skin.
