The Middle East is a one of the most fascinating and breathtaking regions in the world. With its history and untouched beauty, it’s a must for everyone to visit this beautiful part of the world at least once in your lifetime.
However, with all the religious and social tensions happening, a lot of travelers hesitate to visit the Middle East for safety reasons. Contrary to your belief, there are a lot of places in the Middle East that are very safe to visit (at least for now) and here are my top 3 recommendations.
Dubai, UAE
Home to the tallest building in the world and the grandest hotels, Dubai is a city that you should visit if you want a glimpse of the future. I lived in Dubai for three years and I can guarantee you that it’s a very safe modern metropolis. Whether you are a history buff, a foodie, an adrenaline junkie, a party animal or a shopaholic, you’ll surely find a lot of attractions to see and activities to do.
Tel Aviv, Israel
If you love vibrant locals and an impressive nightlife, Tel Aviv is the city for you because it’s a combination of New York, Rio and Miami. It’s on Israel’s Mediterranean Coast so you can imagine spending an afternoon having coffee or partying with a sea view. Don’t worry if you are not into parties and night life because Tel Aviv is also rich in culture, history, culinary and art. In fact, Tel Aviv is listed among the most beautiful destinations according to Forbes Magazine.
Dead Sea, Jordan
The Dead Sea is s a salt lake bordered by Jordan to the east and Israel and Palestine to the west. Here, you will be able to experience a natural phenomenon – floating weightlessly. Aside from enjoying a day floating in saline, you will also appreciate Mother Nature more with the region’s beautiful flora and fauna.
