Natural and Easy to Make Anti-Aging Skincare Recipes

When it comes to maintaining youth, men and women shell out loads of cash for expensive anti-aging serums, creams, treatments and even surgeries.  But not everyone is capable of spending a fortune for tiny tubes and tubs of anti-aging products.  If you are one of those, don’t worry, you can still be able to reduce the appearance of wrinkles, dullness and skin sagging by using natural ingredients that you can find in your own home.  From anti-aging masks to anti-wrinkle creams, I got you covered.

Cleanser:  Rice Milk

For the first step of your skin care regimen, you will be using Rice and Milk.  Rice has been a popular and tradition ingredient in Japanese women.  It’s rich in Vitamin E to hydrate the skin and exfoliates it too at the same time.  Adding Milk will also add more hydration to make your skin nourished, smooth and supple.

  • ¼ c Brown Rice Flour or Rice Bran Flour
  • 2-3 tbsp unsweetened organic milk

Mix both ingredients to form a smooth and lather it to your skin in circular motion.  Rinse with warm water and pat dry.

  • 2 tbsp uncooked rice grains (use a coffee grinder to make it powder-like)
  • 1 tsp dry milk powder

Combine the ingredients together and set aside.  A pinch of the combined dry ingredients mixed with little water to form a paste is enough to cleanse your face and neck area.  Massage gently in circular motion, rinse and pat dry.

Toner:  Green Tea and Pomegranate

I’m sure that you are already aware of Green Tea’s superpowers.  It’s not just for weight loss but for your skin as well.  Green Tea can reduce sun damage, eye wrinkles and eliminate inflammation and redness.  Pomegranate is also rich in antioxidants that can increase collagen production.

  • ½ c green tea (cooled)
  • 1/8 c pure pomegranate juice
  • 1/8 c filtered water

Steep a green tea in hot water and let it cool.  Dilute pomegranate juice with water and add it to the green tea.  Use a cotton ball to apply the solution to our face and neck.  Keep it refrigerated because you can use this up to 2 weeks max.

Scrub:  Apple, Chia and Honey

Chia seed is a popular super food because it’s loaded with antioxidants that are not just good for internal health but your skin as well.  Together with the deep-ceansing power of honey and anti-aging properties found in Green apple (polyphenols, flavonoids and hydroxyl acids), this recipe will definitely make your skin bright, plump and youthful.

  • ½ c chopped raw green apple
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 2 tbsp honey

Just combine all the ingredients in a blender or food processor and puree until you get a smooth consistency.  Let it sit for 5 minutes before you massage it to your skin in circular motion.  Rinse with water and pat dry.

Mask:  Avocado and Honey

Collagen is important to keep the skin looking soft and firm and Avocado is a good source of that.

  • ½ ripe avocado
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1tsbsp ground rice or rice flour

In a small pot inside a larger pot of heated water, add the mashed avocado, olive oil, warm honey  and lastly, the ground rice.  Mix it together until it forms a paste.  Let it cool and gently massage it to your skin.  Leave on for 1-2 minutes, rinse with warm water and pat dry.  The recipe is for single use only and make sure that you use the mask immediately.
